What is great about the city of Madison? There is ALWAYS something going on, and this weekend is no exception! September 24th 2011 has been globally recognized as a day of action.  It is a worldwide rally demanding solutions to the climate crisis. Moving Planet has spearheaded this movement and motivated cities all throughout the world to organize awesome community events.  In response to the call, Madison is putting on four events! Taking it one step further, there is also a fifth event on September 25th titled, “Ride the Drive,” a celebration of Madison’s commitment to bicycling and healthy lifestyles.  No matter your level of “green-ness,” these events are for you, your family and your friends.

Open House is from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm.  Biking to this event is strongly encouraged!  Drop us a line to RSVP (farleycenterfarm@gmail.com ) for the bike ride if you can, or just come along …We will bike from downtown Madison to the Farley Center, beginning on the Southwest Bike Path at North Shore Drive off of John Nolen Drive at 10 A.M.  There’s parking in the Monona Bay Boat House parking area.  Look for the 350.org paraphernalia!  http://www.farleycenter.org/  for more details!
